Ingredients For Parwal Sweet
Parwal (परवल) – 250 Gram
Water (पानी) – For Boiling
Ice Cold Water (बर्फ का ठंडा पानी)
For Sugar Syrup:
Sugar (चीनी) – 1/2 Cup
Water (पानी) – 1/2-3/4 Cup
Cardamom (इलायची) – 3-4
Parwal Sweet For Stuffing:
Mawa/Khoya (मावा/खोया) – 200 Gram
Sugar Powder (चीनी पाउडर)- 2 Tbsp or As Per Taste
Dry Fruits (मेवे) – 2-3 Spoon
Cardamom Powder (इलायची पाउडर)
SomeGrated Coconut (नारियल बुरादा) – 2Tbsp
Pistachio (पिस्ता) – For Garnishing
Silver Vark (सिल्वर वर्क) – For Garnishing Kesar
Preparing and Boiling the Parwal
Take some Parwal wash & peel them. Cut the Parwal at mid only at one side . Remove the seeds from the Parwal using a small spoon or knife. Then take a vessel and heat some water in it. When the water boiling put the peeled Parwal and Green food colour. Boil it for 3 minutes. Turn off the flame and separate the water from the Parwal and put them on a strainer or cotton cloth so that the entire water remove. Then put the boiled Parwal into chilled(cold) water to make it little tighten which maintain it’s shape.

Making the Sugar Syrup For Parwal Sweet
For Sugar Syrup, keep the pan on the flame & put Sugar & Water & let the mixture boil.Then put crushed Cardamom & Kesar in it & make Sugar Syrup. Then put all the boiled Parwal into this syrup and boil for 3-4 minutes on a slow flame. Turn off the flame & take out the Parwal from the syrup and put them on a plate.
Preparing the Stuffing For Parwal Sweet
Now we to make filling for parwal by using some Khoya/Mawa . In khoya put some Powdered Sugar, chopped Dry Fruits like – Almonds, Cashew Nuts & Pistachio & Cardamom Powder & mix all well.
Stuffing, Garnishing, and Serving
Now stuff each Parwal with the filling properly. Prepare all the Sweet in the same manner. Garnish with granted Coconut, Pistachio, & Silver Vark. That’s how our parwal sweet is ready.
