Jaggery (200gram)
Wheat flour (400gram)
Grated dry coconut (1/2 cup)
Fennel seeds (1tbsp)
Ghee (3tbsp)
Water (warm)

MAKING JAGGERY SYRUP FOR DOUGH

Take a vessel in which add 200 gram Jaggery, add one cup warm water and let jaggery melt on medium flame.

MAKING DOUGH FOR THEKUA

For Thekua Recipe Take a large plate or an opened vessel in which you can knead the dough.In this vessel take 400 gram wheat flour and add ½ cup grated dry Coconut, 1 tbsp Fennel seeds and 3 tbsp melted Ghee.Mix all of this in a uniform manner and knead it into a tighten dough.The Dough should be tighten but not dry as if it too dry the thekuas will break into little piece.Take small dough portions and shape it into Thekua using a Thekua mold.

Now we have to deep fry all the thekua on low flame in ghee .On low flame, fry until it turns brown and crispy on both sides.Then strain it from ghee and here your thekua is ready to serve.
